E.L.F Cardiff - Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder

Since I live in Cardiff due to uni, it's hard not to pass through St David's shopping center and not pop into a clothing or cosmetic shop. However, I recently found myself walking back from the train station after a lovely weekend at home and noticed the new ELF shop in the Royal Arcade. I refrained from going in until I gave in today!

I have previously browsed ELF's website and was shocked at the low prices for the makeup and brushes, so I made my way down the newly opened shop. When i visited, I had a little browse around at the different products they supplied. The one thing I found really helpful within the shop was the price list that was stood up on every shelf, which listed each product and their prices. I also found the staff incredibly friendly which is always nice when shopping.

In the end, I picked up, an angled blush brush for £3.75 and the Contouring Blush and Bronzing powder in the shade ST. Lucia also priced at £3.75. I didn't swatch the shades in the shop, so I took a guess on the darkness of the bronzing powder especially. So far I have only used the blush, which i found a really nice change to my usual sleek 'rose gold' blush, which has a lot of shimmer to it. 

I also think the packaging is marketed very well as it reminds me a lot of 'NARS' packaging, which is a bit more high end than ELF. I am happily surprised at the quality of the products with such low prices.
